Panasonic NN-H503B. Now some years old. Switched it on at the plug this morning and it did the following: constant peep, peep, peep, accompanied by the display flashing 9/Beef 10/Pork, 9/Beef 10/Pork alternately. Just pressing 'Stop' does just that - everything stops but then the m/c is completely 'dead' - the display just shows a colon in the centre. If I switch off and back on at the plug , same thing happens. However, if I press any other pad the peeping stops and the display scrolls and shows 'Enter Weight' instead. Letting go of the pressed pad results in a continuation of peep, peep, 9/Beef 10/Pork etc etc. The only thing that will stop it is pressing 'Stop' which kills the m/c dead. I guess this is the programmer up the creek. Is this terminal or can it be re-set / re-booted somehow? Your advice soonest would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much. Dave W.
