Panasonic SA-HT700 Home Theatre - Tray won't open

Hi:I have a Panasonic SA-HT700 Home Theatre and the Tray won't open. There are 2 DVDs inside which I can't get out. I have turned it off and on; unplugged it, etc. The message states " Tray in....please wait" but nothing happens. Do you have any idea how I can get the rented DVDs out on the DVD playyer?
