Panasonic V.S Sony?!

Question

I just bought a Panasonic TC-26LX85, it looks good and I really like it, it's just that the sound quality isn't too great. The volume kinda gets lower and higher on its own. its not too bad its just something I noticed. should I be worried about this, or is it not a big deal? Should I return it and get a Sony Bravia KDL-26M4000??

Please help.

To make it simple, I know Panasonic is a great company but when it come to sound quality, always go with Sony. But you still got a great brand. Just that, Sony is usually better on that subject.
