Panasonic Viera TH-42PV60A dead screen and sound. Hi, While my TV was on with a video camera

Hi, While my TV was on with a video camera connected to it via the front AV input the screen and sound died but the video camera continued playing as normal. I turned the TV off and back on and the red power supply light came on and there was a clicking sound as if the picture was initiated but then nothing happened. I left it off for a few days and tried again but the same thing happened, this television is just under two years old, what do you think the problem could be??
