Depends on your needs and preferences.

If you just want a system that will just allow you to enjoy movies in surround sound without much hassle, then it may be okay.

However, if you demand exacting performance, flexibility,  and, particularly, if you are also going to use it to listen to music, then you may be better served by building a component system.
