My system has developed the following fault:
When I try to run videocam suite or connect the recorder to the pc, I get the following messages:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Program C:\Program Files\Panasonic\Videocamsuite\videocamsuite.exe
Abnormal program termination
ok
Screen message says "Updating the contents information - Please wait"
Task manager says Visual c++ and Videocam suite are running
No change after approx 1 hour.
If I click on "ok" the program(s) terminate.
I have deleted all the video files on my computer, uninstalled the videocam suite software, run a register fix (reg cure) and re installed videocam suite but problem remains.
I have gone through this process twice, trying two options:
At a point in the installation process I get the message "settings remain do you want to retain these? if n then the draft settings will be used." So I have tried both options. Neither seem to work
Can you help please?
