what can we do to help the endangered panda bears from reaching extinction?

With any endangered species you can

Stop destroying the habitat they live in

Make sure that the remaining habitat can be used by them (putting roads through forests cuts off / frightens smaller species, perhaps not pandas though)

Grow more habitat in areas that used to have it. (This can take a long time.)

Put some in zoos and have a breeding program that avoids inbreeding to preserve their genetic diversity.

Put the ones you have bred into the new habitat you have grown.
