Panda cory and black neon tetra?

i was thinking of getting a school of black neon tetras in a 10 gallon tank.well i was also thinking of adding a panda cory with it to clean all the algae.do you think its a good idea?i was also told that i could even get a Chinese algae eater cause they are bottom dwellers and tetras like to stay in the middle or top. do you think its a good idea?its a 10 gallon tank.

  1. panda cories are the most socially dependant cories you can buy.

    There nice but 5-6 is the minimum and you will have to feed them.

    no big deal. Awsell out of all the cories they die the easiest for some reason. To bad there very nice.

    5-6 pigmy cories would love that tank.

  2. Cory catfish dont eat alage, and Chinese algae eaters get too big for a 10gal tank.

    Seriously once you get a school of tetras in there you wont have much space for any algae eater.

    Maybe some shrimp or a big snail will be a better option.
