Can you visit baby pandas and hold them somewhere?Like China?

Or are you only allowed to look at them?

I would really like to pick one up,they are just so adorable, plus I would like to work with them and help them?

  1. Wolong breeding and conservation centre in China, near to Chengdu. There are volunteering projects to go but ther not cheap. And yes, ther are oppertunities to hold pandas, apparently. I really want to go in a few years time, the only prob is, it was badly hit by the earthquake, so i dont know whats gonna happen ther.

  2. If you worked at a panda rescue and rehabilitation centre you would probably be able to hold baby pandas all the time, and you'd be helping them. You should search the internet for places like that. There won't be any in The UK or the USA but if you can afford it you could volunteer somewhere in china, though you usually have to pay for your own transport, food, and accomadation.

Or, if you hold any qualifications in animal care or something simular you may be able to get a job at such a place, though they might not pay much.

Good luck anyway. Thanks for caring about one of the worlds beautiful creatures.

  3. Well you could visit a zoo but picking up it definitely not going to happen. Maby you can try to do some education so you can work as a zoo keeper
