Hi

im currently renting, but now since the world economy is unstable and there's like, a pandemic inflation/recession panic state going on i'm unsure if i should try to sign a contract for say, 2 or 3 years paying my current fee, or hope to find something cheaper the next year or year that follows. I must be a tenant couple years more, until my studies are finished.

 1. . You are correct. If there was a financial panic, prices would go down. You would be smart not to sign 3 years at today's prices.

 2. If you are happy with where you live and can get a 2 year contract I would probably opt for that. Unless, you forsee any changes in your near future that would make it a bad choice. I do not think we are going to be out of this mess for a good couple three years at any rate. good luck
