Pandora Radio is gone! Now what do I do?

I just found out that Pandora Radio doesn't operate in Canada anymore! Essentially it is a radio station in which you put in a song and it finds a bunch of others that are similar to that one.

Does anyone know a website like this?

Thanks!

  1. There are any number of alternate Internet stations to download or use to listen to their playlists or create your own.

I prefer iTunes, Windows Media Player or AOL because they are big companies that are not going to clutter up your computer (well, with the possible exception of AOL). They are all free and all offer an astounding array of choices.

The following sites will have live broadcasts or allow you to set up a custom station to your taste (below are download sites for internet players with lots of stations):

    www.yahoo.com

Good luck, good listening from a guy named duh!

  2. Try Slacker.com

Same idea as Pandora.  And they have  a portable player that you can download playlists onto.

  3. You can try it, but you will probably have to pay the proxy people to stream Pandora as most proxys don't pass certain scripts thru to protect their computers, and Pandora needs scripts to work
