The Schalke defender is satisfied with his side’s draw in the UEFA Champions League and is confident that the team will progress to the next round.
Kyriakos Papadopoulos, who was heavily linked with a move to Russian side Zenit St. Petersburg earlier this summer, has insisted that his team can certainly qualify for the knockout stages despite being drawn into a relatively
tough group.

in the process.

when they last time played in Europe’s elite club competition.

to the opening game in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Greece-c2908.
“I think it's a good group for us and one we can handle. I'm obviously looking forward to the games against my former club, Olympiacos. The atmosphere in the stadium there is fantastic. I received some phone calls from home straight
after the draw,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The 20-year-old hailed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 as a brilliant team and is wary of the London side in the competition. He added that the team cannot underestimate Montpellier as they won the French Ligue 1 title which is no fluke.
“Nothing needs to be said about Arsenal, they're a top European side. Montpellier are a difficult team to judge, but they're the French champions so we can't afford to underestimate them. I'll just stick to my usual plan and focus
solely on our team and how we play,” he concluded.
Kyriakos Papadopoulos has thus far made 47 league appearances for Schalke and has scored two times in the process.
