  1. Paper or plastic bags (like those from the store) can be reused.  Styrofoam should be avoided, IMO.

    If we're discussing single use items, then it would depend on your local municipality's trash handling - if they use an incinerator, then either paper or plastic. If they rely on landfill, then preferably paper if it's not a simple plastic which will biodegrade.


  2. Yes, paper, plastic (excluding takeout container/cups cannot be recycled according to New York City Sanitation Dept.

    Styrofoam can be only recycle in Japan according to Japan Video Topic, but not in USA.

    IIn series, Stryrofoam can turn into oil.

  3. {aper can be recycled or composted, plastic can be recycled, styrofoam should be avoided at all costs.
