  1. 1. Determine where the jam is occurring.

    2. Once you discovered, grasp the jammed paper firmly with both hands and pull straight so that the paper will not be rip.

    3. If the paper happens to rip, rotate the gears by hand to back the remaining paper inside the printer.

  2. Turn the printer completely off. Try to access the paper via any of the trays or doors that will open. I don't know what kind of printer you have but sometimes, depending on the model, you even have to remove the toner.

But yes you are going to have to pull it out.

When you pull it out, if you notice any pieces of the paper that jammed to be missing, you're going to have to look carefully in the printer to see them and pull them out. You may have to use tweezers to get the paper out in that case.

  3. You have to pull it out if you don't want to tear your printer apart. Grasp it firmly between two fingers and pull it gently and slowly. Don't jerk it out. I do this quite often with my crappy printer. Does not ruin it. I have also done this with many other printers.

  4. Your only option is to Gently pull the paper out slowly and as evenly as possible. I can't, but underline slowly and evenly Check to make sure you have the whole jigsaw puzzle. I've had do do it with many different printers. Check the manual. If you don't have it, Google for it.

    Good luck,
