  1. Yes, these three breeds are a lot different personality-wise.  What are you looking for in a dog?  Do you have kids?  Energy level?  Of the 3, the Pug will be the lowest energy, the Min Pin the highest by far.  Min Pins are not generally suitable to have with kids, they tend to be snappish and are very skeletally delicate, so being dropped or sat on by a child can mean a broken bone for them.  They need lots of things to do, or they will create their own fun, and you probably won't appreciate it.  They tend to be barkers and are usually suspicious of strangers and more a one-person dog.  They are very fun if you want to do something like agility.  Pugs are known for being good with kids and overly friendly with everyone they meet, they are real 'people' dogs.  They are a lower energy dog and are happy happy happy all the time.  I have not had a Papillon personally and don't know many of them, so I can't provide you info there, sorry.

  2. OH I LOVE MY PUGS!  very cute loyal companions !  sister has one & he's 7 and is such a funny dog!

  3. i have a pug and she is so sweet and she truly thinks she is a big dog and she is very protective, loyal, and she loves to cuddle. i haven't owned the other 2 but a neighbor of mine hs a min pin and she is so yappy and annoying. papillons seem sweet too!

  4. I have a pug and he's great!! He loves to go to the dog beach and will play with my kids for hours. He's very smart too, he's potty trained and knows all the basic commands, and he's only one year old. Plus who could resist this face???

  6. Min Pins bark alot! They are very yappy dogs and can be difficult to housebreak.Pugs are cute but they shed a lot and can have breathing troubles -especially if you live in a hot climate. They are also very common. Papillons are very smart and easy to train. They aren't as common but they aren't usually over priced and they aren't yappy. They are also small but agile and athletic and able to join you for a good walk or do agility.I would go with the Papillon out of those 3 breeds if it were me.
