Die Roten have been monitoring the attacker for some time now and might bring him to Allianz-Arena at the end of this season.
The Senegalese has been in perfect touch this campaign and has already scored eight league goals until now and was the second highest goal scorer last season.
Despite all this success, Cisse has been terribly unlucky in Germany as the striker has not been able to get hold of silverware since tying knots with Marcus Sorg’s outfit.
Cisse also attracted interest from many top Premier League outfits before the start of this season, but no club were able to match Freiburg's asking price.
The player was believed to be on his way out of Badenova-Stadion during the upcoming winter transfer window but has denied such claims. He confirmed of his stay at the club until the end of this season but admitted that he might leave once the 2011/12 campaign
concludes.

He confirmed of interest from the Bavarian giants and considered it an honourable option for the 26-year-old.
While talking to Bild, the agent further mentioned:
"Papiss is fully motivated playing for Freiburg and he has his mind on fighting the drop as well as keen to play at the Africa Cup Of Nations this January. Bayern Munich could however buy him this January and let him see out the season with Freiburg then.
Of course, this is just theory."
