SC Freiburg’s, Papiss Demba Cisse, has revealed that he hasn’t been approached by any club as yet, and therefore, would be staying in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904. The striker denied all the speculations regarding his transfer and ensured that although he had been linked with
several clubs, there was no official word on this.
The Senegalese international insisted that he is comfortable with Freiburg and has no plans of leaving the club unless there is a really attractive offer from some other club. He mentioned though, that the final decision would be of the management and at
the moment all his focus is fixed upon Freiburg.
The 25-year-old said in an interview, "Everyone is talking about me leaving the club but I have not received any concrete offers from another club. As long as I do not receive anything like that, I am to stay on at Freiburg for sure. I enjoy being at this
club, it is very tough to find a similar club."
The striker has been in sublime touch this season for the Bundesliga outfit and has 20 goals in just 27 appearances. Following this terrific run of form, he has been on the radar of many top European clubs but hasn’t been approached by any of the clubs officially.
Freiburg’s general manager, Dirk Dufner, mentioned that the club are considering a pay raise for the striker in order to prevent him from making a move elsewhere. He expressed his desire to retain the striker and confirmed that the final decision would be
of the club’s officials.
Further commenting upon the striker, Dufner told, "You could not blame Cisse for leaving if there is a club that would hand him a much better salary. The final decision [on a transfer] will definitely be our decision, though."
Cisse joined Freiburg from Metz in 2009 and has shown enormous improvement since then. Till date, he has made 43 League appearances for the club and has bagged 26 goals. The striker has also made nine international appearances for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Senegal-c3001 and scored six
goals for his team.
