With 22 goals, the former Metz player was the second highest goalscorer last season behind Bayern Munich’s Mario Gomez. The striker has already netted four times this season with the opening goal coming against FC Augsburg on Saturday, August 6. It was Freiburg’s
first game of the year and it ended level at 2-2.
