Pappus of Alexandria?

ok I have to right a report on Pappus well I have all of his geometry works information I just need some other info like if he had any kids or something interesting like that (please link the site if possible)

any help would be very much apprieciated

  1. his principal work was the Mathematical Collection in eight books, of which Book 1 and part of Book 2 are lost. in this he reviewed and criticised the work of all the great mathematicians of the past, and to him we owe the only knowledge we have of many whose original work has perished.

    Pappus commented on Ptolemy's great work, the Almagest, and he wrote a Geography in which he corrected some of the errors in Ptolemy's geographical work.

    Pappus was among the last of the great mathematicians to teach in the Museum of Alexandria.

    There is very little known of his family life.
