Papua New Guinea comes closer to playing first class cricket - Cricket News Update
According to recent reports, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has cited that Papua New Guinea is only four years away from playing first class cricket.
“In say four years time, we could see PNG playing against the likes of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Adam-Griffith-c919 tournament,” cited Adam Cassidy, an official from the ICC’s East Asia Pacific program.
The statement was made after the New Guinea side delivered an exceptional unbeaten performance during the recent http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 World Cricket League East Asia Pacific Division One Twenty20 (T20) series.
