Papua New Guinea posted a challenging total in the ICC World Cricket League Division Two match against Uganda at the ICC Global Cricket Ground in Dubai.
New Guinea reached 186 before getting all out in the final over of their innings, but they will fancy their chances with this target.

to attack the bowlers.
However, both batsmen were dismissed after scoring cameos of 13 and 19 respectively. They were followed by Mahuru Dai and Vani Morea, who managed 0 and 1 in their short stay at the wicket. This left the New Guinea team in deep trouble at 49 for the loss
of 5 wickets.
Asad Vala and wicketkeeper batsman http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Jack-Vare-c65171 tried to steady the ship for their team, scoring 38 runs for the 6th wicket. The wicketkeeper batsman was unable to build onto his innings though, as he was sent back to the pavilion after adding 16
runs to the total from 44 balls.

Vala was unfortunate to be run out after playing a valiant innings of 43 runs from 73 balls. He did all the hard work, rescuing his team from trouble but missed out on what could have been a promising half century. Kila also batted sensibly for his team,
scoring 36 runs but failed to bat until the end.
However, a quick fire 27 off 20 balls from the New Guinea captain led the team to a fighting total in the end. He struck 2 fours and 2 sixes in his innings before getting out in the final over of the innings.
