paquiao says the reason he wont give jmm a rematch is because jmm made him wait 4 years, so now his gonna make him wait. i think thats bull sh*t. i think he wants jmm to get older and slower so he can have more advantage over him and finaly win decivecily. what do u think?

  1. HE BEAT HIM 2 TIMES!!THERES NO REASON TO FIGHT HIM AGAIN!!DONT BE STUPID!!

  2. I agree with you. He just wants JMM to get older. If Juan Manuel Marques would've won, he would have given Pacquiao a rematch. The people didn't really get to see the winner, since the fight was so close. and I would love to the the trilogy.

  3. Manny did make that statement but he never said he won't give JMM a rematch.  Pacquiao never backs down from anyone, much less Marquez whom he'd already sent to the canvass four times and "actually" beat twice, if not for that foolish mistake by one judge during the first fight.  What Pacman is basically saying is that he's the champion now and his priority at the moment is to move up to 135 and challenge David Diaz so JMM would have to wait (the way he made Manny wait for four years) and rightfully so.  At any rate, Marquez won't have to wait that long.  After Diaz, Pacquiao might go for Hatton in a one-shot deal at 140 then go back to 135 and defend against...who else but JMM.  Marquez must realize that he's no longer champ and has no business making such demands.   In the first place, it's the promoters who make fights not the fighters.  Not Manny Pacquiao.

  4. Point well taken, valcyrilestrada, some fans were just bitter and some boxers can't make their fights more fun to watch, Marquez can't make big money fights on his own, what a pity to those who are on the losing side.

  5. read this it's funny (pacman jmm interview last april 6 2008)

    im from the philippines

manila, philippines - last apr 6 there's a big boxing match here..

marquez is at ringside as well as pacman

they are interviewed together in national tv in between rounds..

i tell you this jmm is so funny..

he said that all the people in mexico, japan, ireland (he said

many countries) thinks he won the fight

    manny is beside him laughing...

    jmm said a rematch...

i mean pacman is reluctant to say yes...

but indeed he agreed for a rematch...

when pacman said yes jmm said get a pen and paper so

they could sign the rematch now...

jmm keeps on saying he won the fight

manny said there's a winner loser every fight and that night

    is his night...

    jmm is funny...

remember his on the philippines and his saying things like

that on manny in front of his countrymen...

    but filipinos are good sport...

they just all laugh at jmm and manny whose interview is

broadcast on national tv and on the jumbotron of the coliseum

i never thought that jmm is a funny guy...

even jmm camp invited pacman to visit mexico

they say he's always welcome there...

    i highly doubt that.. lol

  6. Bottom line, PacMan drives the bus now, so you have to wait for him to stop and pick you up.

Manny wants to fight lightweight, so he will.  Yes, the JMM fight was close.  So what?  That doesn't mean they have to fight again.  Personally, I'd LOVE to see it. . . but I'm not Manny Pacquiao or Juan Manuel Marquez. . .. I'm not in the thick of things.  I just want the best fights.  And if PacMan thinks the best fights for him are at lightweight, then that's good enough for me!

  7. no, buddy, thats no excuse...its the reality that marquez was already beaten by him...theres no point of having a rematch because jmm never win, plus the fact that he was beaten down (kd) 4 times in 24 rounds. trilogy often happened in an event both fighters won against each other after two fights....remember barrera-morales trilogy...and pacquiao-morales version. if jmm won once on any of the two fights...theres no doubt that promoters would definitely push for a trilogy but not on this situation because he never won. besides pacman is moving on forward and wanted to try it on the lightweights (where he cud be badly beaten).

im telling you, pacman will give the 3rd match when he feels he cant do it in the upper divisions, when he's not popular anymore and when he's already a worn out boxer.

  8. Why should Pacman be afraid of JMM?  JMMecan't even knock him down once in 24 rounds.  Manny=4 JMM=0

  9. KOking, you still can't accept the fact that Manny already beaten your champion?Yes, Marquez is a better boxer than Manny, so what? Did he make Manny kiss the canvass? I don't think so. Are you sort of Marquez manager who wants more money? You bunch of losers still cant accept defeat, Manny will fight Marquez if he wants to, Manny just dont know how to backout  in and out the ring, come on, Marquez is only trying to make bigger money thus he wants to fight Manny. You should be happy that Marquez was lucky to survived the knock out. What a pity losers.

ts not how i determine the winner koking, neither you or me can determine who really won coz were not the judges. You knew that. Pacquiao won if its through my eyes and Marquez won if its through your eyes, but who has the last word on it?Again, its the judges who decide, well if Marquez is better then why is it that he can't get big fights on his own?And why is it that Manny's got the endorsement from Nike?Maybe its just you're envious with Manny Pacquiao since he fared much better compared with your Marquez.  Sweating balls?well to tell you, I love Pacquiao-Marquez 3, or even Pacquiao-Barrera 3 for that matter. I have nothing against Marquez coz hes one of the better boxers and I love how he had beaten Barrera, only I can't understand is why he cant just accept the fact that if not for Pacquiao, he cant get bigger fights on his own.

To Six, Yes I saw it too, Marquez is lucky that Filipinos were sport and accomodating, we didnt even bother to "boo" Marquez when he said that.

  10. i diow dn't know that..? how and where did you get that..? in your dreamz..?

  11. Yea that excuse is complete Bullsh**.

The real reason is because theres no need for a 3rd fight pac man already got the win and if he took the third

it would be to risky because

JMM would give it all he has

it would just be a tough fight. David diaz is just

much easier to beat, also moving up will

help pac man for bigger pay days down the road

Just like floyd gayweather does, Why take hard fights when you can choose easy rematche's?

  12. The fact that he said it standing in the ring immediately after their second fight, then later backtracked, tells me that he doesn't want to tempt fate anymore; he knows he really lost -- again.  http://www.thesweetscience.com/boxing-ar...   The longer he waits, the better for him.  I want to see the last of the trilogy, but regardless, I think history will say that Marquez prevailed in each of their first 2 encounters.

  13. That's not true.  Pac said HE'S READY FOR A REMATCH, anytime, anywhere.  There are tens of boxers challenging Pacman, not only Marquez.  He has a lot of options.  So why would he fight (right away) someone he has already beaten TWICE?  JMM must fall in line, get in the cue!

JMM is so desperate because he has no other fight that would give him money! That's it!

  14. h**l no! It's because he gets better payday on what arum wants and not other else's. See golden boy offered him 6M cold cash but refused to accept, why? Gosh, coz it's too small. Dang, everything today revolves around money, who cares about match ups???

  15. He has nothing to gain by a third fight he has beaten him twice. An error in the scorecards made the first fight a draw. They were close fights but he won them both. It does nothing for him. If he moves up in weight and is successful he will gain something but a thrid win against Marquez is really not anything that will boost his legacy.
