Parachute AND helicopter crash erdington road Aldridge 1973?

does anyone remember this accident on Erdington Road Aldridge - a parachutist wrapped his chute around electricity pylon - a helecopter that came to help crashed into the neighbouring field.

any suggestions on how to research this accident on the web?

Try looking in the archives of the local newspaper who would have carried the story, they keep such things on microfiche.

You might also have luck at the local public library as they also keep records.
