Can anyone tell me anything about this All Inclusive resort in Costa Rica??

What ShayP said except they left out the petty theft part.  Several people I know stayed there last year and were robbed in there rooms. I did here the cops got the people who did it {employees} though.  Utilize the safe in the office if possible and enjoy the area as it's very beautiful.

I stayed there in 2002 and it is simply the one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL resorts I've ever been too.  The beach in front of the resort is DEFINITELY the most beautiful beach I've ever been to.  Let's put it this way; when I was there in 2002, they were filming Ms. Hawaiian Tropic Costa Rica at the resort and had photo shoots on the beach.  Probably the most fun I've EVER had.  There's a sleepy little old town just north of the resort called Brazilito.  There wasn't much there in 2002 except a little hotel that reminded me of something out of a Hemingway novel, and a rustic american owned beachfront seafood restaurant called "The Happy Snapper".  The shortest way to the town is by walking on the beach . . . about 10 minutes . . . but don't do that walk at night.  You can also take a cab ride to Tamarindo (about 40 mintues away).  Tamarindo is a good day trip.  Tamarindo is a surf town.  

Try to fly into Liberia instead of San Jose.  San Jose is about a 4 hour bus ride . . . Liberia is about 45 minutes.

There's a bartender at the pool bar named Luis Villalobos.  He'll be working there everyday all day.  Tell Him Jason says hi.  I still email him.  Get to know him . . . he's a helluva guy.

I will emphatically say you will have an awesome time.  Went back to Costa Rica this year . . . but stayed further south this time.  I took about 100 pictures from the resort.  Email me if you want to see the pictures or any additional info.
