Paraffin - how to remove the smell from clothes?

I've split some paraffin (substitute) on garment and it gives off a right pong! I've tried a regular wash cycle and it doesn't appear to have worked.

Any ideas please?

  1. Try putting a cup of cycle vinegar with the laundry soap.  Then add another cup of white vinegar in the rinse cycle.

  2. use scented laundry soap and a lot of scented LIQUID fabric softener when you wash it...

(may I suggest Gain or Bounty with Febreze? (liquid fabric softener) lol those are my favorites because they smell good)

and then when you put it in the dryer put a fabric softener DRYER SHEET (not the liquid lol!) in the dryer with the garment.  Make sure that it's scented, once again lol.

that way it's a triple threat towards that stink!

    -- 1) Scented soap

        2) Scented liquid softener

        3) Scented dryer sheet softener

I'm pretty sure that will get rid of the smell! make sure you use a LITTLE more soap than usual.  but just a TINY bit lol!\

I hope this helps, and good luck! ♥ ™
