Parakeet beak help!?

Question

My parakeet developed a small black spot (about 1/2 cm) on the tip of his beak within the last week or so. He lives with another parakeet, which does not have any beak spots. Both are a bit over a year old. He seems fine, healthy, still eats, active, etc. His diet is parakeet seed with occasional millet. I've tried to feed them veggies, but neither of them touch the veggies in the hundreds on times I've tried. Right now they are both molting.

Should I worry about this black spot? Is this normal?
