my birds had eggs this summer and i sold them and i wanted baby birds agian and i put in the nest box but my brother siad that they wont hatch because they should have eggs agian until 6 months is that true

Did they mate first?  If they did, they're are chicks inside of them.

Well, they are sexually mature at six months old.  Also, you usually have to wait a while before the birds will mate.  They can get ill so easily, and die, and tired from laying eggs.
