Parakeets eat meat use to feed mine cat food as a supplement to reg food and sometimes my mcnuggets to he lived to be about 19 yearsold / or so..yhen got away on day1 on my mom went out side not to return!!

we have a conure (parrot cousin) and he loves meats including chicken, pork beef and fish..  he also enjoys eggs, veggies and fruits, breads, crackers, pancakes..  one of his big treats are pita chips..  he'll even eat them off his floor if he drops them..

but be sure to give them separate food from yours since they are not to be touching your food..  VERY unhealthy..
