  1. Since there is no male, the eggs have bo chicks inside. Try to get your bird a male so she can be happy, and thats when she will start to eat again.

  2. don't worry. nothing is living in it because its not fertalized.

    hope this helps!

  3. The first thing you need to do is to figure out what you are feeding the bird that is making it want to lay. Parakeets lay when there is an abundance of food. That is the problem with pellets. They make the bird think that good times are rolling in so they start laying. Get some plain parakeet seed. (canary-white millet-oats) Don't feed anything besides the plain seed. One tablespoon of seed a day is all they need.

The best thing to do now is to leave the eggs alone. She will finish the clutch and might sit on them. That is OK, as

long as she is pre-occupied with these eggs she is less likely to lay again.

  4. Females lay eggs even when no male is present.  It's a natural instinct to do so.  Replace them with marbles of the same size.  These eggs will eventually start to rott and smell bad.  But the marbles will pacify her.  I had a chicken that when she got too old to lay became very reclusive and "depressed" we fill plastic easter eggs with plaster of paris and put them in her nest.  She was much happier and it showed in her appetite, appearence, demeanor and attitude :)  Good luck.

  5. The best thing to do here is to leave the eggs in there and let her sit on them until she loses interest or she will just keep having more and more and then become calcium deficient which can be life threatening. You can also get fake eggs from pet store or websites and replace the real ones with those. She will not know. Make sure while she is laying eggs she has cuttle bone and ground oyster shell for calcium replacements. Very important. If she keeps laying she can also become egg bound which is very dangerous as well. So let her have her eggs and when she realizes they are not going to hatch she will leave them and show no interest and you can toss out.

  6. try taking her out of the cage and when its out in another room, just throw them out

  7. Hello.

She has no male , however she laid eggs because her body is mature . If you can give her a male, she would be happy , if not, let her have eggs about 1 _ 2 weeks, then you can throw away . As soon as you throw away , the sooner she can come and eat...otherwise she would keep incubating it as the fertile ones and it would make her feel exhauted . Specially she does not have a male to help feeding her . TM.

  8. that happend to me we took the eggs to the vet to see if it something inside it turned out that it was not fertilized it didt have anything inside them
