Parakeet question about a mate?

i got a parakeet 2 weeks ago and i already trained him could i get another 1 from same store if they still all look good and put in right away or should i still wait till i can buy small cage and quarantine or should it be ok?

I would not do that right away like this. Wait a while maybe 6 months to asure the one you just got who you have already trained will remain tamed once another parakeet comes into the home. Right now that bird will remember being wild and will forget about you if another bird is there taking it's attention away from your training.
