  1. just the same as a hen egg. the white is the what the embryo develops in,and the yolk is the food the embryo lives on. the shell being the protected wrapping

    i don't know

  3. The same as any other egg. Do not remove the egg until your bird loses complete interest in it.

  4. This isn't rare, I bred and raised parakeets for over five years and while the majority of the eggs were fertile, there were several that never hatched. Inside will be the yolk and white, just a baby chicken egg!

  5. Throw it out.  You have a female.  I had one too that layed an egg.

  6. Hi,

Well firstly if the egg is infertile remove it as it put strain and stress on the incucbting birds so remove it. Secondly as for whats in the egg then its just like a chicken egg with yolk, just crack it open and have a look though.

  7. If you are sure that the egg of your bird is infertile... the answer would be so easy. Infertile eggs are also similar to the chicken eggs that we can buy over the groceries and other leading supermarket around your neighborhood.

  8. In the egg is a yolk & a white - just like a miniature chicken egg, but the coloring may be different.  It may be darker or lighter in color, but still yellow/orange & white.
