  1. Of course he won't. If your bird is truly in love he wont forget her. He will be fine.

  2. No, he won't forget her. I've had to take my female to the vet before, and not only did the male not forget, he was crazy trying to find her the whole time she was gone! Screamed the entire time, kept checking out our shoulders to see if she was there and such. You could literally hear the relief in his chirps when he saw us bringing her back.

  3. Why will she be getting her feathers and nails done?

  4. no he will not!

    budgies are monogamous!

they only love their mate but its another case if there is another bird or that the other bird died.

they will find one after the other died and if ur female dies... play with ur male and give him a lot of attention..

    hope ur budgies are ok!

  5. Parakeets stay with the same mate for life... except if one dies... only then will the parakeet left behind take another mate.  So as long as you don't go bringing another girly to the mix you should be fine.  A few days is barely anything to worry about... even for a lil keet.  Just give him enough love and attention.  He may be worried that she won't be back, but I'm sure when he sees her he will be happy as can be.

Is your female ok?  Hope so...take care and good luck with them both.
