I've had my aprakeet Bloo, for about two years. I've looked up how to find out their gender but her (I doubt shes a he) cere changes colour from blue to pinkish blueish purplish. I also cannot figure out her age. Here's a picture of her, now with a blueish (pinkish at hte top) cere.

  1. It's a boy b/c of the blue cere (the cere will change a bit with hormonal changes, "mating time") lol

Its hard to determine the age,but he is no longer a young boy b/c he lost the "bars" or "lines" on the top of his head. I attached a picture of a young budgie with the line on its head.

    good luck =)

  2. take her or he to the vet if you really want to know they can do a test! But it can be painful so only do it if you NEED to know!

  3. I would say about 2 or 3 years old.  It's hard to tell the gender from the picture but it looks like a boy since it's blue in the nose.

    I hope I helped!

  4. I'd say 2 yrs. Old

  5. The bird is probably 2-5 years old, it still looks pretty young.  And i think from the picture it's a male!
