Parakeets?? kinda weird?

lol why do parakeets stick their chest out?? i see my aunts birds all the time doing this and i wanna kno why??

There really is no reason. This is just how they stand. All animals have behaviors that seem weird but to them, it's pretty normal. I had 7 parakeets once and they all stuck their chest out. They all normally do it but you notice it more on males because they also attract females.

Mine dident have a mate and she did that, it seemed to me like she was keeping herself warm. I can't prove that but thats what i think.

Parakeets just like doing stuff like why do parakeets like ring bells and swing on swings

if they are oposite s*x and if they are full grone they are mates

most likely to  keep themselves warm or their comfy like that .

They do that to keep warm. I've had 3 parakeet over the last year and they always did that. They did it a lot in winter too.

to you it might seem weird, but its just like us sitting up straight and alert. very normal.
