Parakeets p**p stuck on him?

I bought my parakeet on the 17th its the 19th now and he is still kind of scared of me, and when I came into the room today and started talking to him I noticed that there was p**p stuck on like the butt feathers and its just hanging there. It's kind of gross and how should I take it off because as I said he is still scared of me and he wont let me touch him with the p**p on him. (I think he knows there is p**p hanging and he is scared/embarassed?).

He goes on my finger if I put it in front of him but now he wont with the p**p hanging there, everytime I open the cage and put my hand closer to him, he goes in the other direction and if I get closer he starts shaking.

what should I do to take the p**p off?

real sorry take him to vet and they will make everthing fine get there as soon as possible though because u never know GOOD LUCK!!!

You might try putting a bowl of water in the cage room temp.  With any luck he will get in and it may loosen up and come off .

Its worth a try and if he is like my birds he will like it .
