Parallel Parking with Cones?

Can Some one let me know how many cones should i put for practising the parallel parking and how should then be placed.

Once they are placed in the position i would like to know step by step approach to do the parallel parking (i am wanting to know when i should turn my handle towards the curb and at what point i should turn away to bring the car in) Any help over here will help me a lot
