  1. This is one of the best questions I have ever seen on a public board!

The answer. . .they are exactly alike and don't give a dam about anybody except themselves.  And you can throw Gonzales into that category too!

Can you imagine the nerve of Wolfowitz's trying to set the terms of his resignation?  THE NERVE!

Wonder how much it will cost the World Bank to get rid of him!!

I am definitely starring this question!  Good for you for asking it!

  2. i don't consider it a parallel because i am giving Paul Wolfwitz the benefit of the doubt. he still has time to prove himself "innocent" or at least not entirely responsible. he acted under the knowledge, albeit not in its entirety, and recommendation of World Bank's board, so there is still much to be awated what really happened in this incident. as for Bush (and Blair, actually), it has already been proven, what was the purpose (ever-changing to fit his needs for justification) of the war against iraq? was it not ORIGINALLY to obliterate weapons of mass destruction, so where are the WMD now? he has obviously failed to fulfill that first purpose primarily because the object of the war was inexistent, and then he changes the purpose to liberation of iraqi people?!?! come one... the american government/s has had such a long history of colonialism in so many countries, philippines, iraq, vietnam to name a few. it really makes me wonder how much of this history is taught to americans.

so, my answer is a definite NO, i dont find it an appropriate parallel situation... but of course, i am open to changing this opinion, especially after the issue with Wolfwitz is resolved.

  3. Both too stupid and too stubborn.. and both a little bit crooked.

  4. I think the parallell is in 'types' - many in power today seem to feel above the law, above opinion and above reproach. They forget 'We the people' are the country they represent and that the opinion and majority decisions of 'We the people' should override their desire for power and position.

  6. Don't you have a life?

  7. Debra said it best! Both a little bit stupid and little crooked. Funny though, I don't consider either of them "a little" of anything. BOTH ARE CROOKS, LIARS, CONNIVERS, AND PIGS. They have hurt the entire American nation so gravely, it will take several 4 year terms to repair the damage done by these two goons!
