Question:

Parallel parking one-handed in PA?

I'm taking my road test tomorrow. I usually parallel park with my right hand on the back of the passenger seat to turn around and back up. I can do it perfectly like that. If I do that on the test, will I fail or should I try to do it with both hands on the wheel and risk failing? I'm extremely confident on the test, other than speeding, if I can do it one-handed. If it's got to be two, I'm a little more nervous.

  1. You need to do this with both hands on the steering wheel and you "must" use your mirrors..........

  2. You may be more comfortable doing it one handed..but...just do it exactly the way they taught you to do it....just for the test.

That way...you can pass....and then ..you can make parallel parking with one hand the rest of your life if you want...but..just do it the way they taught you...that way...you're covered.

I'm sure you can deal with it for one little test...it's not all that tough.

    good luck...and be safe!
