Paranormal? Items? Smell?

Question

My mom always smells smoke ... I smell stale water and I find unique feathers in patterns or white ones , black or red what does this mean ?? Ohh and seeing things at the corner of my eyes

Well since smell does not exist and never has existed and never will exist I don't think you smell anything. I mean smell would require the rewriting of several proven laws of physics.

Seeing? gee stop with the magical pseudosciences already.

To be honest, sounds like something in your mind.  We're all guilty of getting a head of ourselves from time to time.  I'm not saying you're crazy, or your mom is crazy by any means.  

Smells pop up when thought long gone or they combine and your mind recognizes it as something its not.  

And the feather thing, again, is probably all a string effect.  You've put it in your mind to notice ones like you have and you do more so then someone else.

Again, not saying that something isn't going on.  But try to rule out what it might be other then a paranormal happening before saying that's what it is.

OMG!! you have the same thing that i have!! i see floating things at the corners of my eye, i look at something for a while and i turn away- it disappears. i get really freaked out, but then i try to tell myself that it is just my imagination!! but i know its not!! i also hear voices.... andi do smelll stuff too.. like yesterday i smelt burning pinestraw in my ROOM!! i wuz sooooooo scared and i try my best to try to get over the thigs that are out of the ordinary... so wuz this what u were looking for??

well sometimes when you smell something it means it is trying to manifest it self . and i believe that you see things out of the corners of your eyes, but sometimes when you are convinced that there is something there your eyes play tricks on you.

All I know is that smelling smoke or fire can be a sign of a brain tumor. Tell your mom to go to the doctor.

That is hard to answer based on the information given.  I am going to take for granted that your mom smells these things in your home....There could be several reasons for that.  Most are natural.  One of the more common is that whomever lived there before you smoked and it is absorbed into the soft surfaces of the house.

Another is that in the houses history, there could have been a fire.  If only part of the house had to have work afterward, you could be smelling smoke that was absorbed into the undamaged parts.

One more comes to mind is that if the house had a fireplace that is no longer used, if the wind is right , you can smell that also.

As for the feathers, if you have an attic or basement, birds could come in either place to build a nest.  Animals that kill birds to eat (cats come to mind) often take them to a private place to eat.  They will leave the leftovers, like feathers,

lying anywhere.

There are just lots of natural explainations why these things are happening.

Not to say that what you are experiencing is not supernatural or paranormal.  Do the feathers appear in the same place?  Have you been able to identify them as belonging to a particular bird?  How often does this happen?

Stale water smells are a sign of mold.

Have your mom have all these things checked out and if these things are still happening, you might want to consider what you have might be paranormal.

Lol. I hope smelling smoke that isn't there doesn't mean that you're getting a brain tumor 'cos that happens to me too.

Just a whiff of bushfire smoke, gone in a few seconds, happens maybe once or twice a week and always when I am sitting here on the computer.

Never thought it was paranormal though.

Sounds stupid but I always thought of the smell as being generated inside my nose rather than coming from the outside, which obviously is not possible unless my nose hairs were on fire.

I don't know about the feathers....corner of eye, yes they are very fast, and the smell...

Usually a spirit will connect to one of your senses...I smelled many fragrances around where I was sleeping one night.

When my mother in law died, about three months later, there different times I was home alone, windows closed, and I woke up around 2am all three times to a smell of the after smell like my mother in law had on her from smoking cigarettes...one of those times when I awaken to that smell, I believe she was in the TV since it was acting very weird, the designs all over the screen moving around....never seen a screen do that.
