Paranormal Jackson County?

Question

Has anybody ever had a paranormal experience in Jackson County, Mo? I mean any kind of paranormal experience. I would love to hear about it!

Hey Nathan.  There are plenty of spooky places in Jackson County and people just love to speak of ghosts in such places.  However, I have never had an experience anywhere in the K.C. area.  This place is ripe for some good old spooky haunting stories though.  It has a rich history--Civil War activity, gangsters, the jazz scene, Truman, etc.

I used to work in a grill at the back of Kelly's Bar (where the pizza place is now), in what is often times recognized as the oldest building in Kansas City.  We shared a basement with Kelly's and I would have to go down there to get ice and potatoes.  It's about a spooky a place as you can imagine--dirt floor, a bunch of random junk accumulated over the years, poor lighting, low ceiling, etc.  It spooked me quite a bit to be down there, but I didn't see anything paranormal.
