My son & I live in a documented Haunted house. I've lived there for 20 years, my son is 13. I sometimes hear the spirits and I've seen a fwew of them. My son sees them more and hears them all the time.

We have tried to cleanse the house with a catholic Priest

We have done the Frankenscents & Murr

We have saged the house

The last thing we did was ther fran & Murr and I'm afraid something else happened. All night my son heard his name being called. We were told by a Psyhic that came to the house my father is the dom spirit and he goes everywhere with my son, But I went upstairs with a recorder and played it back and could hear my father call for my son.

I'm worried that instead of the spirits leaving they were put into another dimension of the house and I also heard growling. So did something else come in?

There are 14 Known spirits in my house. Some family, some are connected to the house. Any info would be appreciated.

They need to be sent to the other side.  If they are bothering your son, by all means let them go and send them on their way.

I know it is a novelty to have a ghost or spirit and judging for the length of time you have known about it, it wasn't something that bothered you to begin with.  But they do not belong here, especially if they are messing with family.  It does not matter that they may be family....when someone dies they should move on.  

Try talking to them.  Saging and etc is a clensing ritual but sometimes it takes more than one time for them to get the idea.  It is kinda like that visitor to your house who will not leave....sometimes they just won't take the hint when you yawn.

If that does not work, get back in touch with the team that came back and talk to them.  They should know of someone who would be willing to come and clense the house for you once and for all.

If a spirit wanted to move on to the other side, they would of done so at the time of their physical death. So saging & other tools to cross them over, just doesn't work.

A spirit may of chosen to stay behind for many reasons. like: didn't believe in the after life & the spirit feels not worthy of continuing on, maybe they had a deep Faith, they feel a guilt about something they did. They even may feel, a job was not completed here & they must try to complete the job. For each spirit, there is an individual reason why they do not move on.

I have found, talking about love, which is one of the strongest emotion we have, helps to move them on.

Just talk to them, as you would any other person. Tell them, their loved ones have been looking for them. They have been searching a long time and can't find them. They miss and love them so much. Keep talking about the bond of love, being missed and finding them.

Tell the spirits, they can't find them. You know how to get them to their loved ones. Tell them to look for the Bright room. They are in that bright room. They need to go in there.

Also, if you feel, that a spirit is left behind, because they haven't finished something in the house. Tell them, you will take care of everything now. You will do the job. Go to the bright room, where their love ones wait for them.

You get the idea how to talk to them.

Just talk to them. Learn how to live with spirits. You cannot force them to leave anymore than you can force someone live to leave by saging, smudging or declaring them to leave by some Holy name.

However people have learned to live with spirits and have been very happy doing so. If your house is documented to be haunted historically I mean not just by a modern local ghost club coming over and saying so, then you could earn extra money by charging people to come to your house and investigate. You could even open a Haunted  Bread and Breakfast if your house is large enough.

I know your not crazy....

I too have had many spirits good and bad in this place.....my spirit guide came back again last night, she held my hand. She touches a lot and many times have I seen her. She would call me by my first name, it was abit scary at first. My son seen a man many times. I seen him and another man once each. But than there was another man a bad spirit.

What I believe happens is like a spiritual war fare....usually when you have good spirits like spirit guides, and perhaps your son does. Bad spirits will try an move in to confuse you. I was able to rid the bad spirit in an unsually way, and with the help of my spirit guide.

Some of the spirits- ghost may not even see some of the others depending on what dimension they are in. Some don't even know that your there, they're like a recorder playing over and over again taking the same path and or doing the same thing.

But if one is your spirit guide, and if you can connect like I have, it's so comforting, especially when you see them, they are compassionate and touch a lot, they hold your hand, rub your back, and hug depending on if your spirit is hurt, and if your sensitive to them, see and hear them, and once they know that you are they will communicate all the more, and then you'll be able to feel the love they have for you.

But it does sound like you have many spirits there....

Try prayer and ask God to send your spirit guide to help and protect you....that's what I done and they came. You can try putting sage in all four corners of your home, it brings in the good spirits and drives out the bad.....plus if you can arange it, if you can connect with your spirit guide, your guide can help guide these spirits to the other side, to help them transcend.

My advice would to be open-minded to the possibility that you don't have any ghosts at all. You gave very little details on the types of hauntings you think you're experiencing, but certainly tricks of vision (especially out of the corner of your eye) and even hearing things are not unknown and aren't uncommon. Sometimes our brains misfire or can be fooled.  

What caught my attention is the "14 known spirits". I strongly suspect that the psychic you used gave you this number, and I suspect just as strongly that it is just something that the psychic thought sounded good. Or perhaps the psychic was sincere. Either way, focusing on details like this can lend a false air of validity to paranormal claims, which is probably why the psychic gave you this number. He/she wanted you to feel like they were really in tune with your situation, hence the fine detail. But frankly it sounds like BS to me. Not to sound harsh, but there it is. If you're unquestioningly accepting this kind of information from the psychic as fact, I think your own power of suggestion may be responsible for most of what you are experiencing.

No, you're not crazy, but I bet if you were willing to put away the paranormal explanations for the sake of argument and start viewing your home in terms of natural and explainable circumstances, you might find that you really don't have much reason at all to believe you're being haunted. I'd also advise you to regard those ghost recordings skeptically. I've heard a lot of them and I've never heard one that couldn't be interpreted 10 different ways, suggesting that they aren't words at all but white noise and random audio artifacts (look up audio pariedolia).

If you want to get rid of them, why don't you get someone to come and help them crossover to the other side.  That might be what you need.

That growling could be a problem.  From what I've heard and know about the paranormal that is more than likely a demon.  I know some psychics or paranormal investigators specialize in demons.

Your best bet is to have psychics come in again to determine the dimension part of you question. Try a different psychic than the one that came before.

It's all in your mind in reality they don't exist. What do exist are jinn and shayateen so you may want to play the Holy Quran, I suggest Surah Al Baqarah very loud in your house and I promise you it will all go away. This is what I did.

From what I understand, when you try and cleanse a house and open the "gates" to the other side, you open it to everything, so you very well may have invited other spirits without knowing it.  My husband is an avid Ghost Hunter and Paranormal fan and we both have had different things happen with us.  I don't think you are crazy and if you can figure out a way to contact Ghost Hunters they may very well come and look at your home.  They always make comments about the welfare of the children coming first before other haunted places.  I do believe they are free of charge also, but don't quote me on that.

You may not be crazy. But you are superstitious, gullible and you seem to be enamored with the paranormal. You don't have 14 ghosts in your house. You don't even have one. But bringing a paranormal team in will only guarantee that your superstitions will be reinforced by their equally superstitious beliefs. Here's your solution: stop believing in ghosts. Then you'll start recognizing things for what they are -- visual illusions, auditory illusions, your imagination, etc.

the growling sounds bad, but if your father is the dominant spirit, could you (or a medium) ask him to chase the others out? if you saged the house, are you sure you did it correctly? did you seal your banishing ritual by telling them to never return?

if the priest didn't work, there is a big problem. is there a way you can move away? if those things you used didn't work, it's probably something more deep-rooted than just a few spirits (meaning, there's something in addition to those spirits, like a very strong metaphysical force on that land that has perhaps always lived there.) which could mean nothing can get it out, though i've never heard of such a situation.

i would ask a medium to communicate with the spirits or with that medium's spirit guide and ask the guide how to get those spirits out =) best of luck.
