  1. Just take science classes.  You'll learn all you need to know there (if you take it far enough).  There is nothing special about paranormal investigation.  It's just like any investigation--objectively gathering data.

What you might be looking for is an instruction in how to be a ghost hunter.  This is not the same thing as an investigator of the paranormal.  One is an objective science while the other is nothing more than anomaly collecting.

  2. Some universities and colleges offer this as an elective from time to time. This is not terribly unusual as far as course offerings go I had to take human sexuality somewhere else other than the Catholic university I graduated from that continues to list the course in the bulletin despite it not be taught in at least 3 years.

Franklin Pierce University offers a minor in parapsychology at the undergraduate level with a major in psychology. However, they do not have on line courses in parapsychology.

The state university of Georgia in Carrollton, GA at least use to have a class taught by William Roll.

The easiest route which most people working in parapsychology have taken is to pursue a degree in a conventional science and apply those methods to  your research.

For example a course in experimental psychology will give you exposure to how experiments are conducted in psychology.

A course in research methods & evaluation and a statistics course would also help in conducting paranormal research.

  3. Find a paranormal research group in your area to work with.

You will learn a lot from them.  But remember, you will always

learn something new no matter how long you are out there.

With a paranormal research group, you will get better lessons

    than from books.
