Paranormal State Fans!!!?

Question

I love Paranormal State, but lately I've been questioning if Chip Coffey really is psychic or if he is just making stuff up. What do you guys think?

well I happen to like Chip very much, I have seen alot of his work besides the shows he is on.

NOBODY is going to be 100% right all the time, we are human and flawed. He has even stated he has been wrong...any one who says they are never wrong are the fakes.

Chip Coffey is not a real psychic.

I don't know if you have seen the show Psychic Kids but on one episode a little girl claims to be talking to a boy called Freddie Stuart who was murdered in 1887.

Chip finds the census record for 1880 and indeed there is a boy called Freddie, just as described and Chip triumphantly claims this as proof.

However Chip didn't bother to look for any other records and Freddie Stuart wasn't murdered as a child but was alive and well and getting married in 1902.

I think if Chip was really psychic he would have known that boy wasn't murdered, so yes he is making stuff up.

Sooner or later, everyone claiming to by a psychic gets asked this question.

When it happens, they have two choices:

1)  admit that they were making it up

2)  lie like the conniving b*****d they are

No idea, but he's gotten a few things right, so I'll just go along with it.

Not to mention he's hilarious. I mean really; that little spray bottle of holy water? Priceless.

Some things seem a bit far fetched, but I'll probably keep watching even if they prove he's full of it. The show is entertaining, and interesting, even if it were fake.

...but mostly just 'cause Ryan's hot, lol :)

Chip Coffey is a huge fraud, there is nothing real about that guy. If you read enough and did your homework on a destination, chances are you would come up with the exact info Chip Coffey dishes out. I cannot stand his show psychic children at all, he exposes children and calls them haunted, when infact some, because lets face it most of the kids are faking, have a genuine gift to see things. Chip is what gives real psychics bad names.

Being an Atlanta Ga. native (that is where Chip is from), I must admit that until Paranormal State, I had never heard of him.  Does that make him a fake, no it doesn't.  I personally like him, but only time will tell what his skills are.
