Question:

Paranormal experience?.......

Last night, I was lying in bed whilst watching TV at about 3:00am in the morning. I was getting to that stage where my eyes were still open, but I was starting to drift off. Suddenly, I heard a really demonic like sound from the other end of my room. I'm not sure how to describe it, but it sounded like the cross between a crows squawk and a lions roar, thus scaring the cräp out of me.

I'm quite a skeptical person, and I don't tend to jump to conclusions, but I can't think of any animal that makes the kind of noise that I heard.

The question is; Paranormal or not?

  1. Maybe it was a combination of a noise on TV, and you falling asleep.

Or maybe you woke yourself up with a loud f**t.

  2. NOT! You admitted you dozed off. it was a dream. Nothing more. However if you really want it to be paranormal then in your mind it will be. No amount of logic or reasoning will change that.

  3. It could be your neighbor...

They could make some weiiiiirdddd noises sometimes.

Or the sound of furniture moving? Like chairs?

    But maybe not.

I don't really know because I've never heard of it...

If that's not the case, maybe it's Paranormal.

  4. Im the same way i think i hear noises and see stuff but i am always wrong or find a solution to what ive seen.

  5. NOT. In a half (or perhaps fully) asleep condition, the sound may have been a dream event or it may have been something on the TV.

  6. I think you heard real demonic spirits. I have experienced something similar where I have heard a goat and some kind of bird as I was going to sleep and waking up respectively. (No goat don't live anywhere near me). First of all 3:00 a.m is known as the witching hour that is where demons are more active than at anytime of day. My advice therefore is to pray before going to bed and after you wake up asking Jesus Christ to protect you from all harm and danger and ask him to send his holy angels to watch over you. There is a spiritual world all around us that we cannot see and as such you need to ask God to protect you from all harm and danger. If you want further information. Just send me a message and I will tell you as much as i can.

  7. There are two physical explanations.  Were you half asleep, and the joke about the plumber made you think about bathrooms and maybe someone in your home flushed a toilet?

Another thing that I think of is a cat fight.  It is a hellasious sound that includes screams and growls.  And again in a half asleep condition your mind made it something that you could relate to? (some video games have demons)

I have often thought that cats fighting sounds like what I imagine demons might sound like.

If neither of these sounds like it will work try to talk to someone to get more information to help you.

  8. well i dont wanna deny it being paranormal but maybe you imagined it...i know that sounds kinda lame but just try not to think too much into it unless it happens again

  9. I was about to post this as an question if my house was haunted but A few minutes ago i was using the laptop in the living room, when my mom heards some noises in the wholeway where the door is,when she asked me if i was hearing it 2,so i toke off my headphones and i heard these scratches against the door,i came closer to the door when i heard these scratches getting louder and louder it sounded like a cat was scratchin the door,i didnt open the door but looked out of the living room window which is close to the door and sticked my head out of the window and looked at the door from the outside and i didnt see nothing but we where still hearing these scratches proper loud against the door,so i opened the door and the noise stopped, this defenitly freaked me out seeing the door from the outside while u can still hear scrathes

  10. My it was your pet ? or a neighbours pet ?

Plus you were tired so you could of just imagined it ?

  11. Was this sound near a window? At night, sometimes I hear a cat screech really loud. I doesn't even sound like a cat it is a scary sound. Could that be it?

  12. I am thinking not.  Brains tend to play tricks on us when we are just ready to go to sleep but not quite there yet.  I have heard what I thought was a large boom as I was ready to go to sleep one night.  When I got up to investigate (went outside in my PJs and a gun) I saw my neighbors walking.  They heard nothing and had been outside for at least 2 hours.  Did I ever find out what it was, nope...but was it paranormal.  No it wasn't.

  13. When we're between a state of being asleep and being awake our minds are in a slightly altered state, somewhat similar to what can be experienced by proper meditation, which in turn can make us more perceptive to happenings and activities of non-corporeal beings along with allowing us to perform certain abilities like channeling and remote viewing with greater ease. Whether or not you had a genuine metaphysical experience however really can't be judged based on the small amount of information available.

  14. Being a somewhat skeptical person myself, I had to have it proved to me.

The sound you're describing is very strange, and all I can say is, though it's unsettling there was no apparent harm done. I would recommend keeping a log of strange events like this, as well as trying to determine if there's a way you might have misinterpreted the location of the sound (echoes from outside, for example, bouncing off your wall can misdirect).

I can't solidly determine from the limited data you've given whether or not it's paranormal, but it is worth checking out to try to figure out what's actually happening. I tend to look for normal conclusions before determining whether or not it's paranormal.

  15. I think you may have just started to drift off. I remember once I was half asleep, and I smelt this really strong stench like blood and I felt as if the room was full of people looking at me. I was terrified, but managed to turn on my light. As I woke up, there was no more smell and I calmed down. It's just your mind trying to sort itself out, don't worry

    Peace xo

  16. Well if you're a skeptic who has had a paranormal experience then I'd say that it is paranormal.
