Okay, true story. While I was attending college in NW PA, I ended up with a bunch of like minded wiccan/paranormal friends. We used to go ghost hunting and whatnot, but one night tops the rest. There is a ravine just off of campus with a nice creek running through it. We decided that we were going to go out under the full moon and have a fire and a few ceremonies. It was the middle of winter and there was a lot of snow on the ground, no leaves on the trees, and a full moon. Needless to say, we could see very well walking through the woods to the best place to access the ravine. We get up through the woods and to the edge of the ravine and the hair started to stand up on us all(arms, head, neck). We look into the ravine and we can't see anything, literally, nothing. We tried using flashlights but they wouldn't penetrate the darkness, even our hands disappeared if we put them into it with a flashlight shining on it. Needless to say, we cancelled that night. But there were various other strange happenings in the area, we got a lot of it on film, sadly one "friend" supposedly sent all our evidence to a paranormal team, but he left and we never heard from him again. There are also 3 trees in a perfect triangle, they are all gnarled and bent while all other trees which appear to be the same age, grew straight and normal. These 3 trees have large boulders buried at the base, on the interior of the triangle, and are clearly at least a hundred years old. The northernmost one is in the previously mentioned ravine. Do you think there was something paranormal occuring, or was it just a group mind phenomenon caused by one person's fear? What do you think?
