Paranormal picture?

Question

Ok, me and a couple of friends took a trip to one of New Jersey's most huanted areas, The "Spy House". We caught ALOT of evidence. Now, what i am giving you is a picture taken from the outside of the building, so there was a reflection of the camera's flash (we weren't alowed inside). However, That deosn't mean that it was any body elses reflection because none of us run in that pose. Any way, I respect and Admire your opinions on wether or not you think it's a gost or not. This is an unfinished site, so please don't comment on the site or mess with it

First of all, I don't see anything in the window.  If you do it's probably nothing more than pareidolia.  All the ghost stories aside, you are taking a picture from the outside in, with a flash, at night, through old and rippled windows that haven't been cleaned--all less than ideal conditions to gather data.  If you looked at that picture without knowing the place in which it was taken is "haunted" then you may not have noticed anything spectacular about it.  However, because you were biased you aren't observing impartially.  You are seeking validation of a conclusion you made before you even visited the place.

Secondly, if you think this picture is evidence of a haunting then you need to revisit your definition of evidence.  When investigating a location, the #1 rule is to remain impartial and objective.  Assume nothing and accept only empirical facts as evidence.  It sounds like you and some buddies weren't investigating at all.  You were just out to get your kicks at a haunted house.  There's nothing wrong with that, but don't pretend you're a paranormal investigator if all you're out to do is find "evidence" in support of a foregone conclusion.

I'm sorry if I sound like a jerk, but it's important that you are familiar with good investigative techniques.

Ok i did not see anything . but here is a suggestion , before you start assuming "it should be a ghost" try figuring out if it was a camera trick of the eye !

I see the teeth of a smiling skull directly next to the flash. Unless of course someone just happened to be grinning at the window at the exact same time the picture was taken.... thats pretty cool. I have plans to go ghost hunting at some point this summer..... would you happen to know of any supposedly haunted places in southern Indiana?

What I see...

in the upper right hand corner area (right upper quarter) I see a face turned just slightly foward of a profile.

It looks plastic,manneqinn like.

whether its paranormal or not,we will never know.

Yeah well, if I squint my eyes and hold my tongue to the side I can kinda see a figure wearing a hat and a neck tie. I'm guessing it's a combination of whatever is in the room, and smudges on the window reflecting the flash though.

I don't see what you describe.  If you really want people's opinions you shouldn't be leading their thought processes.  By telling them what they are supposed to be seeing, more people will "see" it.  Same goes with EVP.  Most of them don't sound like words, until you are told what you are supposed to be hearing.

If you're talking about the face in the window...it actually looks like it's wearing a MODERN day hat, decidedly not period.  Probably just someone behind your camera-person caught in the reflection.  It happens a lot more often than you'd think.
