I went to Pennsylvania with my family on vacation this past week. My daughter is really into photography so she bought herself a disposable black and white film camera. She captured this at night when we were walking by a graveyard after going to Ben & Jerry's and I was wondering if anyone can debunk this for us? It's really creeping out my daughter and us. http://i37.tinypic.com/2rcc0av.png

  2. ok I JUST moved from pa a week ago. Been living their for two years. In my house there are very much ALOT of ghost in pa...FACT: PA is the leading haunted ghost state in AMERICA. I had ghost in my house and you could see the shadow's and they would get very angry at us and stomp and open and close doors. But they never HURT US......this is NOT a LIE...truley and honestly please if you ever go back there be careful.

  3. Sorry it doesn't seem real. It's a spooky image though.I hope your kid is in on it.From what I've read here. Some people have no problem telling their kids ghosts are real..

  4. I seen that pic somewhere else...maybe it was a pole dancing stripper!!

  5. awfully happy about that Ben and Jerrys, huh?  What are the putting in the Cherry Garcia these days?

  6. Haha!  Good one.

  7. If you need a debunk, that is easy. You are submitting a hoax. The image is obviously doctored. There is several indicators of such.

    1) Disposable black and white cameras are rare compared to the number of color disposables. If you were to select one, it is due to the sharp, crisp contrasts they produce from the trichromatic film. This image is anything but. It has contrast, bad tones, and over exposure. This would tend to indicate that the image was a color camera photo that was converted to grayscale.

    2) The image is saved as a png. While portable network graphic type is popular, it is not the typical file format used by the every day household or CVS picture scanner software. That file format is jpeg. PNG is though used frequently by web developers and graphic artists, in other words those that typically alter and produce images.

    3. The image has no saturation or hue channel. This means it was a converted to greyscale image, not a true grayscale image. In other words, it did not come from a black and white camera. Black and white film does not produce true black and white photos. The photographic dyes has minute yellow and blue shades. This has absolutely zero.

    4. The light post in this image is perfect. Light posts in the real world are not. The metals are affected by weathering. The metals show imperfect reflections, hold scratch marks, wearing, and corrosion. This has none. It also has no weld marks, rivetts, etc.

It is an awesome picture for a graphic artist. However, it is not something appreciated by the serious paranormal researcher. It is hard enough finding and collecting legitimate evidence without the need of clever trickstirs and those aiming to deceave.

  8. cmon man get a life you and your daughter you hobo

  9. I have seen pictures with apparitions in them and none of them have the detail that one does.  There is too much in the hands, and not enough any place else.  I definitely think that picture is a hoax.
