my mates and I are making sort of a spooky night I need really smashing material, stories, cases and so, not the typical stuff so...

tell me what to investigate!

you know, ghosts, aliens, paranormal activity, strange cults, anything that would make Moulder S**t his trousers and the twilight zone seem like a child's park

dude, me and my girl were watching tv one night and it sounded like someone went and opened our front door and we immediatly checked and no one was there and than we heard knocking at the window.. so weird.. but we always had a seanance the day before.. weird braah

Just a piece of advise ifI were you I would not play the oujia board it brings nothing but disaster. There have been true stories of people who died shortly after using an oujia board plus you'd be getting into evil stuff. I know this doesn't help with your question but I just wanted to give you fair warning before you do something that could harm you.

Good luck in finding something to spook out your friends though.

There are a lot of things you can do just for fun.  In the name of science, you could do all the things kids do at parties to prove if it happens or not.  For example, stand in front of a mirror and say  I HATE WITCHES one hundred times.   Supposedly a witch appears and kills you.  See if anyone has the guts to do that.

I saw this on Paranormal State:  Light one hundred candles and then have each person tell some scary story, whether it is real or just a story they heard.  After each story blow out a candle.  By the time you blow out the last candle, a spirit is supposed to be in the room with you in the dark.  They tried it on Paranormal State, but they did it outside, not in a room.  I think it might work in a room.  Of course I have never tried it so I don't know for sure.  Too scared.

For some real investigating, take a digital recorder and make a recording in a place that you either believe is haunted or is rumored to be haunted.  Ask questions like "is any one here with us?"  or  "What is your name."  and the ever scary one "Are you beside some one?  If so, what is their name?"  Then you play back the recording and listen for any answers that might have been given that you did not hear with your own ears.  This is called Electronic Voice Phenomenon or EVP.  It is my favorite thing in the world to do in ghost hunting.   Anyway,  I hope you guys have a good time no matter what you decide to do.
