Parasailing??? plz answer?

I will be going parasailing in about a week. Can anyone tell me what it is like and how there experience was? Is it scary....fun???

Depends on your opinion of heights.  I went parasailing, and LOVED it!  It was a lot of fun, though whether you enjoy it depends on a few things.  

1) are you afraid of heights?  You get REALLY high up there, and it feels a little precarious.  If you hate heights, it's not for you.

2) do you enjoy a good view?  As much adreneline as you get from being up high, the big point of Parasailing isn't the excitement, it's the view.  After a little, you calm down and look around.  if that sounds boring, it's not for you.

3) Can you follow directions?  Parasailing is SAFE.  They wouldn't keep doing it if it wasn't.  Still, as mentioned before, it's a little precarious, and you have to follow their directions exactly.  If you feel chafed by rules designed to keep you safe, it's not for you.

4) Is this through a registered group?  If it's a bunch of friends who have a parasailing kit, it's not safe.

If you are fine with all these, then you will have a GREAT time.  Just remember to take deep even breaths and try to enjoy yourself.  Remind yourself that it's safe, and enjoy the view!
