Can someone tell me the differences between

Parawood flooring

Engineered wood flooring

I think I saw parawood flooring in Wickes but it looks like the backing is made of real wood. And it's around £!5/m^2. Can it be cheaper than that? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

  1. Parawood are the trees that are harvested for Latex. It is a solid wood like oak or maple. Engineered flooring has a veneer on the top of plywood material. Here is a website that sells both of them.
